Artists Town Meetings
The Artists Foundation is co-sponsoring Artists Town Meetings across the Commonwealth in 2008.
All meetings are free and open to artists working in all disciplines (Visual, Dance, Music, Literary, Theater, etc.). The calendar of the meetings, listed below will be updated as meetings are added.

Meeting Agenda
1) Updates about the Massachusetts Health Care Reform Law. Find out more about the AF's health care work on this law: www.healthcareforartists.org
2 Learn why it is so important for Massachusetts artists of all disciplines to answer the STAND UP AND BE COUNTED questionaire-http://www.artistsfoundation.org/survey.html
3) Learn about key Federal and State legislation that impact artists.
4) Learn why it is important for artists of all disciples to attend the November 13th- Artists Under the Dome Event at the Massachusetts State House and also hear about the new Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition: www.artistsunderthedome.org
5) SIGN the thank you artists' scroll for State Representative Eric Turkington. He has been a strong supporter of the artists community and he has been the Chairman of the Joint Committee of Arts, Tourism and Cultural Development. His leadership on that committee has been in steadfast support for artists. Now, after 20 years of distinguished State service, he is not seeking reelection. We will present him this "Thank You scroll" at the Artists Under the Dome Nov. 13th event.
